Multimodal Transport – Assagenti Newsletter

In the April issue of the Assagenti Newsletter, lawyer Francesca Barisione analyses the regulation of multimodal transport at both international and national level, also with reference to the liability models used in practice (uniform liability system and network liability system). She also examines the relevant new developments aimed at ensuring an adequate infrastructure system, such as Bill S. 1055 (“Framework Law on Interports”), which sets out the specific operational requirements for port infrastructures, including adequate connections with the main national transport networks, proper integration with the Trans European Transport Corridors, adequate customs services, supply chain, industrial, distribution and urban logistics services, security services, and interconnection with info telematic platforms.
