Angelo Merialdi
Angelo Merialdi graduated with honours in Law from the University of Parma in 1992, with a thesis on civil liability for marine oil pollution. He qualified as a lawyer in 1995. Between 1996 and 1997, he held professional positions at the Maritime Safety Unit of the European Commission (Brussels) and at Registro Italiano Navale (RINA, Genoa), and earned a PhD in International Law from the University of Florence. He joined the firm in January 1998 and became a partner in 2004.
He publishes articles and contributions on maritime, aviation, and insurance law, and regularly speaks at conferences in Italy and abroad on maritime and related legal matters.
He is admitted to the Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) and other higher jurisdictions.
