Corrado Bregante

Corrado co-founded the current firm with Francesco Siccardi in 1986.
He is admitted to the Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione) and other higher jurisdictions. He serves as an arbitrator in maritime and insurance disputes and is a member of the Board of the Italian Maritime Law Association (AIDIM). He has presented papers in conferences on ship recycling, ship arrests, and international road transport at conferences and seminars. 

With over thirty years of professional experience, Corrado has developed in-depth expertise in many areas of maritime law. His practice includes hull and cargo marine insurance (claims and coverage disputes), cargo damage during sea transport, shipbuilding, conversion and repair contracts, ship demolition and recycling, ship financing, disputes arising from charter parties (voyage, time, and bareboat), and both conservatory and judicial ship arrests.
He has also handled matters of international law, including anti-suit injunctions, international sanctions, maritime insolvency proceedings, arbitration in Italy and abroad, as well as issues related to land transport, freight forwarding, and logistics contracts.
